Tadoba National Park
The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, situated in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra state, India, serves as a sanctuary for wildlife. As Maharashtra’s oldest and most extensive national park, it was established in 1955 and encompasses both the Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary.
Pench National Park
Pench National Park, located in Madhya Pradesh state, India, was established in 1975, covering an area of 257.26 km2 (99.33 sq mi). It encompasses the Pench Tiger Reserve and takes its name from the Pench River, which bisects the park from north to south, dividing it into nearly equal western and eastern sections within the Seoni and Chhindwara districts, known for their dense forests. Originally declared a sanctuary in 1965, it attained national park status in 1975 and was designated as a tiger reserve in 1992. Subsequently, in 1983, it was officially declared as a National Park.
Kanha National Park
Kanha National Park, alternatively referred to as Kanha Tiger Reserve, sprawls across extensive grasslands and forests in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Within Kanha Meadows, visitors can observe tigers, jackals, and wild pigs. The elevated plateau of Bamhnidadar provides a habitat for various birds of prey. Animals frequently congregate around watering holes like Sondar Tank and Babathenga Tank. The park's rich diversity of flora and fauna is showcased in the Kanha Museum.
